Also is there any way to confirm what the motor is... With out opening it?

The engine number is 9V269148. It stated on the rego papers that it is a 4144 capacity but doesnt feel like a 253... It is a chev, it has the chev zorst outlets.

There should be a casting number somewhere which you can usually google to get a bit of info. Or just put a picture up here and someone will know.

That engine number doesn't look anything like the one on the 350 I just sold. Did a bit of research on it cause it was in a WB ute and needed to figure out what it was and if it had been registered with that engine before.
