Wow... I wonder if this one has the factory rear window heaters?

Ford owners are always willing to say yes because they think im talking about the demister... Once i clarify that i Mean heaters to keep their hands warm while pushing they are unimpressed... Pffft i dont care

It bugs me how the car has HISTORIC Rego.
This type of rego is for factory spec vehicles of historical significance
Can someone show me
- a factory burgandy XD van,
- a factory XF fronted XD,
- a factory fake EFII rimmed XD,
- a factory "sports" steering wheel equiped XD
- a factory XD fitted with gauges everywhere.
- a factory XD with chrome in the engine bay

Why are these cars allowed "historic" rego?

You forgot the - factory XF door trims. Way ahead of it's time this "factory" XD was.

I loved my XD Sundowner, it was a lowly lemonlime 302 auto, but drove nice, and sounded great. I liked some of the bits on the XD's, the factory roof spoiler, the HUGE (on lemonlime) green sun up the sides and back. In the back they had factory rear speakers in both sides, switched light on both sides, and ashtrays on both sides.

I do love sandman's more, but still a good try by ford, albeit way too late for the real panelvan craze.

Luckily that butchered one on ebay was NOT a real sundowner, it is a falcon. The VIN number on all Sundowners, XC or XD started with JG47.
