It bugs me how the car has HISTORIC Rego.
This type of rego is for factory spec vehicles of historical significance
Can someone show me
- a factory burgandy XD van,
- a factory XF fronted XD,
- a factory fake EFII rimmed XD,
- a factory "sports" steering wheel equiped XD
- a factory XD fitted with gauges everywhere.
- a factory XD with chrome in the engine bay

Why are these cars allowed "historic" rego?

You forgot the - factory XF door trims. Way ahead of it's time this "factory" XD was.
