REVS check

HI I did a revs check on my car and it keeps coming up that the vehicle doesn't exist or that I have put the numbers in wrong, the last rego sticker on it was from vic in 2006 can anyone think of any reasons shy it wouldn't be coming up?

Are you searching your VIN number? Long skinny tag? Or the chassis number?

You should be using your chassis number.

I had the same problem with vic roads . Even though it state you can use a chassis number it seems to only work with newer cars with the updated Vin number . Best to ring direct and ask for the details

and where do I find the chasis number?? I was using the long skinny tag numbers

does sound right yes mate. Just make sure it matches the number on your id tag. the one with seat cap and all the ADR numbers etc.

yea it's all matching so guess I will ring them tomorrow hopefully they are better than the WA pricks they keep you on hold for 30 mins than put you on hold! oh and how do I shrink the size of my box I write in I type three words and it takes up half the screen I notice other peoples don't.

its never been registered in nsw.....

and there is no encumberances in victoria.act.qld.sa or nt...i cant do wa...
