    Holden 202 manifold problem

Hey guys I'm currently trying to fit a 350 holley onto my red 202. I have a redline torker 2 manifold, as I have pulled my old manifold off to put the torker 2 on I noticed that there a lip coming off the manifold that hits the extractors, and is stopping it frop sliding into place. I'm just wondering if anyone would have some adivce on how to get around this, can I just get a grinder and trim the manifold to fit?

Probably yes, but without a photo it is hard to tell.

To be honest too, i'd advise you to ditch the manifold and carb and find a factory 2600S/2850S/186S inlet and carby (or use a red 253 carb) or Falcon 2BBL Weber. Much better suited carby to a 202.

    Here is the manifold:

Shows you what a 253 carb on the manifold looks like:

Also here is one with a Weber adapter:

Here is the adapter by itself:

Hey HK I just bought a new torker 2 manifold and holley 350. so I can't go changing my set up now. its just the lip on the manifold where it slides in between the extractors. there is a little overhang on the extractors that is stopping it from sliding into place. I will get some pictures within the next couple of days, I think I just need to knock a bit off the steel plate that the extractors are welded to with a grinder, instead of the manifold.

Grinder to the extractors I reckon. Or which ever part is not going to allow a leak if you take metal off.
