Yeah the pick up for the tacho is a wire from the coil. You just plug the GTS gauge harness into the standard dash wiring but someone said WB harness was slightly different to the HZ one on here earlier. Must not be too different though because its been done a million times. You will need to change the oil pressure sender to suit a gauge rather than a light as well.
As for fitting it, just be careful and patient as they are a bit fiddly trying to hook up the clock and get the blinker lights to all stay in place. Not much extra wire on the harness to play with.

Rightio, it doesn't sound too hard... I should be able to work it out.. Hopefully.. lol

What do you change the oil pressure sender to?? is there just one that screws into the factory spot?? and then does the factory wiring just plug on?? If there is, that would make it heaps easier.. I plan to rewire the whole car at some stage, so I will make it perfect then..

The next thing is, does the wiper dwell switch (I think it's called that..) just plug in on the WB harness, or does it have to be actually soldered in??

Yeah, there is not much wiring to play with behind there.. lol It doesn't help when you have big hands and fat fingers.. lol

I am planning to remove the steering wheel and replace it with the GTS steering wheel, and also put a new indicator stalk in while I am at it cause mine is broken.. :(

Also, how does the horn mechanisim in the HQ-HJ GTS steering wheels work?? I have (supposidly..) all the parts, but don't know how they go together... :( It has a HZ SLE centre cap, does that change how the horn is set up??

Thanks in advance for all the help..
    Cheers,
    Matt
