    WB Clutch Problem...

Hi guys, I have only just noticed that the clutch pedal in my ute is able to be pulled right up to the bottom of the dash, yet it still remains functional when it is pushed in..

I think it possibly has somthing to do with the severly stretched clutch cable that is fitted at the moment..

My question is: are the V8 WB clutch cables the same as the 6cyl ones?? I have a NOS V8 one here that I picked up for $10 and was wondering if I could fit and see if that fixes the problem..

    Any help is appreciated..
    Cheers,
    Matt

I would think that if you had a NOS V8 one then you should put it on ebay and you'd probably make enough to buy an entire 6 cylinder clutch with cable and pedal rubber

Hahaha, is it realy worth that much??? the plastic has been ripped, but it is a NOS V8 WB clutch cable..

I didn't think I was getting anything special.. :nevreness: Just thought I would pick it up at $10.. lol

What about a NOS WB V8 throttle cable aswell??? is that worth anything??

I will buy you throttle cable.
There is a stopper rubber missing off your clutch pedal. You need to fix it as the cable can unhook off the pedal. I had this happen to my brothers WB at the lights. I pulled the pedal up with my foot and off popped the cable.
If its a M20 4 speed then the cable will be the same for V8 or 6 I would imagine. Could be wrong though.

Righto, thanks for the info James..

I thought it was either the cable or I was missing something.. Does anyone have a picture of what the stopper looks like?? I might be able to make one up.. if not, does anyone have one they want to sell??

Nah, its a 3 on the column at the moment, but it will soon be a 4spd..

Oh, and I don't really want to sell the throttle cable yet.. But you will be the first I let know when I want to sell..
    Cheers,
    Matt
