Hi, I got new seat trim from eastern auto upholstery. They are located in melbourne ( like pretty much everything) i had a quick look around for the phone number, i could not find it, they advertise in parts magazines but dont appear to have a website.
I was really happy with them. I got matching door trims as well, the whole lot cost about 1300 i think. I still need a new centre console lid though, the original is looking a bit tatty.

Nope. The only thing black in a 67V car is the fascia.

I am currently getting my seats recovered in the original Buckskin fabric left overs from the factory, (motor trimmer in business for 40 years and buys all the end rolls fabric he think maybe popular, or so i have been told, i have also just resprayed my consol with the vht paint which is near identical to the factory console color, tried the 3M product, it was shocking and more like chamois than buckskin.

Which colour VHT dye? I was looking for something to replicate the gazelle on my kickpanels in my HJ and to touch up a couple of the other trims as well. I had used some Holts Duplicolour (CVS1 or CSV1 Tan satin - they were two same brand/colour cans with a slightly different part number, however the bar code and number below it is identical - work that out...) on the other bits but found out that I had supposedly bought the last two spray packs of it in existence with the job only half done... I do think that the colour may be similar to the later HZ or WB tan colour but am really just clutching at straws....

Anyone have any or know of someone who might? I've tried ringing the manufacturers and the distributors of it (and the goose behind the counter where I bought the stuff really couldn't have been any less helpful if he tried) with no success....

    Frustrating at the moment....

    Regards,

    Dave

The color of the vht dye was buckskin, the color charts are hit and miss and no one seems to know which one is right, but comparing the inside of the console original paint inside to outside near perfect, i slightly tinted with black to match the sun damage on the door trims and the handbrake surrounds.
