Nice looking ute Robbo, bet you wish you still had it. Gotta say they look way different with the SL/E rims on them.... think I prefer the Rally II rims myself.

Thank's Absinth,I have never seen those rim's on a Sandman since that time.So in saying that,I guess most people preferred the other rim's also...lol.That's what it came with,so they must have changed the specification's on the wheel's just prior to 12/78.They were a pain to clean, especially if you were on unsealed road's as I was sometime's.
I have a few more pic's to post and I don't know where I went wrong, but Blocker fixed that one somehow.
Cheer's.
They are Premier stainless sill trims, it was common for owners to get a set and fit them to their utes/vans..... They are great for holding dust and moisture to help rust your sills away even quicker than normal...

When we used to fit the sill mould's, future rust problem's were not a concern,it was all about the appearance. They really did look great to us,they are statesman mould's actually.Premier are shorter. About 90% of the extra's I fitted to that ute were genuine holden,if I'd known then what I do now about rust, they wouldn't have been fitted. Statesman's must have rusted badly.
Cheer's.

I put them on once to cover the rust...I think that you'll find that the ones off the premier wagons fit the utes and vans as well. Jeza
You are right "Absinth & Jeza", I forgot about the wagon's.
