    Van Search

    I have been contacted y a guy who is looking for his old vans, one a HJ purchased new and the other a HZ bought new as well.

    They were purchased in the ACT and sold privately there as well.

    The HJ VIN is;
    VIN - 8WM70??H343591J
    ENG No QR621927

    The HZ is;
    VIN - 8WM70????938249Z
    BODY 396541A
    CHASSIS AHZ0690615
    ENGINE QT903218
    COLOUR 1934 - Trim 18V

    If you could have a look around, maybe we can put the current owner and previous owner in contact with each other.

    Hi Blocker

    Have you ever though about starting a National Sandman register of vehicle identification and currant owners (I guess not everyone want to give this detail out) or sadly where grave site of Sandman, where owner are letting them slowly deteriorate.

    I would help past owner who are looking for their sandman.
    How many sandman are floating around.
    I do realize, this would be a big job and responsibility, that this information didn't get in the wrong hands.

    I know and have notice that a couple people do ask for the Sandman Identification details for record keeping.

    Just a passing thought and seeing what other people think about this idea.

    Thanks for the idea however Byron over at fastlane has been collecting Sandman details for several years now. It would only be a duplication of the many many hours he has already put into that project.

    I'm looking forward to his publication which will have many corrections and updates to add to the Sandman legacy.

    Hi Blocker

    Byron was one guy I knew who was collecting Sandman details and setting up a web page on all about Sandman, when their really wasn't anything else, apart from the Sandman owner of Australia Club website (which is closed or shut down?????). Very helpful guy (Byron), he help me out, checking the details on the ute, before I purchase it in 2007. Is he a member of this website??????

    I also think it would be a great way for current owner to find out the past history of their Sandman, when a past owner is trying to track their Sandman.

    I also will look forward to Byron publication on the Sandman legacy.
