I run a 255/60-15 on a 8 1/2. Inch rim lowered 1 1/2 with a 5 inch back space,And have had no issues
with tyres rubbing even loaded with crap going away.
I now wish that I had bought a wider rim and tyre, But the perfect back would be 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 .
It would give a little more room to the rear springs.
5 inch back space on the front is a 1/4 inch too deep , it will hit the tie rod.
M/T do a sportsman s/t which is a normal radial(not drag) which is priced better than the T/A's and just as good if not better in the wet.
