You should have kept the original cable clutch setup and a Conmmodore/WB bellhousing - far neater in the engine bay!

I gave it to a bloke who was broken down a few months ago I found him on the side of the road, in a nice orange daily sandman from Newy going to W wyalong, he was amazed when I cam back with it I think....but now I don't have one as didn't think it would be needed as we are doing hydraulic

On another note what do you think of this tyre. It's been the hardest thing to decide. Not to fat, fills up the guard without being too high. 295/50/r15's

295/50/15 is a fat tyre and not likely to fit under a stock wheel well/arch especially if sitting a lower ride height. That said, it is the size I would go for but it would need modification to get the desired ride and look.

Really a 295 should be on a minimum of a 10" wide rim, any narrower you will have excess tyre sidewall bag and this will effect handling. I think you might be better suited to 265/50/15 or 275/50/15 on these narrower rims. Really a 245 is about right for a 8/8.5" rim. But a little extra bag does help with reducing gutter rim rash.

We spent two weeks looking for a 275/50/15 the only ones available are drag racing tyres with very little tread for dot legal in USA but suspect not the legal in Australia. 275/69/15 at 28inch diameter will fit but in my opinion after testing two big in diameter and too much rubber from side view. Play we don't think it will rub as felt all around the guard and there is room. The 295 on a ten inch rim, which I tested with a 5 inch backseat, has no chance of fitting the 295 on a 8.5inch rim with 5 inch backset will fit perfectly, but may have to pack chassis bumper stop 10-15 mm at worst

Looks unreal!! Love fat boots on vans. Check your direction of rotation on your tyre. Thinking maybe that one might be for the other side, looking at tread direction.

Yes that was a directional tyre but we weren't worried about that it was the size I was looking at

There may be some side wall bulge but it is the best combination I have come up with
