    hi all does anyone have any good tips for removing silicone i have just stripped my 308 and it has been use on all gaskets and i hate the stuff so want to remove it thanks

    Horrible stuff!!! Go a fine sharp scraper to get the bulk off flat surfaces, then try thinners with a scouring pad and finally, a rag with thinners. Not much breaks the crap down.

    Get a pack of stanley knife blades and use as a scraper
