Gee it would really be a pity to see a sandman like that crushed but I could certainly understand the familys sentiments though. Be nice if someone was able to save it. Especially as this couple inadvertantly gave their lives for it. They were planning to restore it so itd be nice to see their vision fullfilled...

Agree it would take some serious tact though, given the nightmare their family has endured.
