the first one needs 17 in rims or more so if you want to go back to oldskool rims you cant i have just put slotted rotors on my HQ with HZ callipers but havnt driven it yet but i do remember it having good brakes with just the standard HQ set up . the best part about the big brake upgrade is it is all brand new but i dont think you will notice a huge difference ,my daily drive is a VE calais and the brakes dont feel any different than my sons VS but in an emergency the abs helps
