That ute in the above photo used to be called "bag limit" on the stone or sun deflector back in the 90s, he never got out of a b&s or a pub without getting a defect for that bullbar, bloody crazy back then, it was the biggest one around, must admit bloody useless as it always hit the ground with the slightest bump.
but i must admit my old 5 poster saved me from about 3 new fronts for the old hz.

Yeah every one has opinions on what looks good on a car. The thing is appreciating other peoples cars as we stand to loose from a divided view point.

Nothing wrong with a solid bar on a ute. I'm an unabashed fan - Platt's are tough. I prefer them on HQ to WB than the Commodore variants.

Platt, Tuff, and Hopper Knocker was also a popular one once. Kevin Paix from dubbo made about a million of them as well.

Yeah mine was made in 2000 and after that they got huge. Mine is pretty dated looking now though. Have thought about taking it off and going back to a bumper. If I do sure as anything I will smash the front off it with a roo though.

There are two ways of looking at bullbars, if you are that stupid to walk in front of a car it's no great loss to the world..... Or they provide something good to hang onto as you go under the front..

i reckon they are great but over here in WA most of those older cow tippers are technically illegal but the cops dont know it. ive seen hundreds getting around. near every WB has one.

funny about that stupid to walk in front of a car comment wbute . i work with a young girl who is about as stupid as stupid gets... she has to think about when to breathe. anyways she walked in front of a car on stirling hwy the other day and ended ass up with cuts n bruises. when she told me i was laughing so hard i cried
