They said on the radio that he had been doing plenty of laps in one of the cars in the off season... Stoner will add plenty of media interest to the sport.... It will also give it an international spotlight so i guess thats good for the sport...

I dont really follow the v8 supercars as they alllook the bloody same to me.... Production racing was the best for me... I love watching he muscle car masters..... Now thats good racing.... As for the v8's i always watch bathurst.... Its all about the race moreso than the cars for me

he is such a talented bike rider its a shame to see him retire and as for V8 supercars i lost interest when Larry Perkins retired we spent 4 days at clipsal Adelaide this year but the main reason i went was to watch the muscle cars .Wayne gardiner went from bikes to V8s and he was a very talented bike rider but they soon called him captain chaos in the V8s so who knows, i hope he does well

I was a Larry fan as well (& with Russell as well.Castrol Racing WOO HOO!!!) and as far as i'm concerned HRT & Kelly brothers can go sh1t in their hands and clap.
Have been a Lowndes fan since 1996 and still am (GO Team Vodafone)!!!!
With Casey it MAY be a good thing but as long as he can drive it'll be all good.
In regards to Wayne "LEGEND" Gardner, we went to Bathurst in 2000 and watched him. Great ability and better person then "D1ckhead Doohan".

I agree V8 supercars has lost it! Bring on the muscle car masters, at least there is a bit of variety in the cars, even though not many people will like this my favorite bathurst was 1985 when walkinshaw one in the v12 jag, lots of different cars in the race.
V8 supercars need to shake up the dull thing they offer at the moment, bring back FPV vs HSV vs the world, dont HSV claim there cars match the worlds best cars!
