I'd love to get the VIN of it as this is the first 12/76 HX Dandenong Sandman I have ever recorded. I have at least 3 or so Dandenong examples of most other months HX was produced and was starting to wonder if they shut up shop with HX's in 12/76 to concentrate on LX or something for that month.

I just had a look in the database, and there weren't all that many HX's built at Dandenong in 12/76. The last 11/76 I have is AHX03525 and the first 1/77 is AHX03991 so the absolute maximum in 12/76 is 466, and this is making an incorrect assumption that I have the last 11/76 and first 1/77 recorded which would be unlikely. So maybe less than 325 or so 12/76 Dandenong produced HX's which will be all vans with possibly the odd tonner thrown in. Maybe even less.

Note, March and April 1977 are even scarcer!

i think it all depends on where they are and how much it will cost to transport it , i would have thought the HJ on ebay with XX7 stamped on the plate would have so;d but it is in far north QLD
