Welcome mate. I saw that one on gumtree a while back. Pretty sure it's a three seater so not SM but looks like a cool van nonetheless. You should come for a cruise with west side vanners here in perth
BQZ
Id love to come on a cruise unfortunately I was removed and blocked for offering to do a photo shoot by Jay thanks anyway Vombil.

Being Adelaide built prior to mid 1973 it should also have a number stamped into the cowl panel
next to the passenger side ID tag.
I would be very interested in the other id tags details if you want to share them.
So far I only have one other Adelaide built V8 Belmont van on record earlier than this one and that is
from Jan 1973 and was completed in Melbourne,
Cheers Paul.
I have 2 Elizabeth bodied vans earlier than this and both are Dandenong assembled, only one is a V8 though and is probably the same one you have Paul as it is 1/73.
Thanks Daveohq I would appreciate the details.
HK1837 I would say the 1/73 is the same one as it is the one Rocket posted details on at fastlane in 2011.
First Adelaide/Dandenong 6cyl Belmont van Leroy and I have on record is 11/71 (no 124)next is 2/72 (no 1058)there are a couple of vans in between but no body number details to confirm where they were from originally.
next are 7/72,8/72 then 3/73.
Actually looking at it now I do not have any Belmont vans that I can say are totally from Melbourne for sure.
Never actually checked before so does this mean Melbourne did not make vans.
Cheers Paul.
Dandenong made HK to 12/77 HZ vans but using Elizabeth bodies. Pagewood is almost the same except they did their own HQ shells and made HZ's up until mid 1978.
