That is probably because proper restorations and survivors don't get advertised very much.

There is the really good nick windowless windsor blue van survivor in the Echuca Museum. Last I heard it was for sale at around 43K and it has been that way for about 3 years now. No takers?

I have photos of the HZ at Echuca Holden museum if anyone interested. Will try and post them but haven't worked out how too yet using an iPhone.

Or because high priced ones aren't selling.

As a percentage of vehicles advertised restored/survivors are a high enough proportion to be significant, and they don't appear to move.

One at Echuca hasnt been for sale for about 12 months, flew down to look at it and agreed on a price in principle, owner never returned emails, txts or calls and read on Fastlane that he had decided to keep it, is a great car but dont believe it had correct motor and didnt have correct interior colour which would not matter to some, its not too hard nor does it take too much effort to at least ring someone back that has travelled on a plane for 2 hrs then jumped str8 into a car for 2 hrs to say they have changed their mind.

I reckon its the same with that atlatis blue HZ on carsales... long ass storey but the prior owner scored it from his brother as payment for painting a bloody house.... the guy that has it now reaslises that if he paints it (needs it desperately to stop surface rust engulfing the entire car) he wont get his money back. So... hes selling. That one is better buying at $30K now IMO

the owner of that van and the ute in the museum happens to be a good friend of mine, and due to circumstances beyond control, things had to remain stagnate, and yes a call would have been the right thing to do, absolutely, but it didnt happen, so we best leave it at that.

I still reckon it'll pull $30k, if not high 20's.
