Purchased a set of the mask kit from Ebay a while back.

Worked ok although I still did have to trim up the masks a bit with some trimming tape to hold down edges etc.
The 2pak did not bleed under the masks that I used and probably did make the job a little easier.

Have been thinking about it, but i don't know if the curved parts join up, or if you have to add extra tape to them to make them fit.

    I made fiberglass paint masks

I got a rim put some glue stick glue on it (easy release)
covered the rim with tin foil
    Applied the fiberglass
after it's set ridged i popped it from the rim to be sure it wouldn't stick to the rim.
I then left it for a couple of days to set fully and used a die grinder and sanding disk to cut the mask.

    good luck

I've got 15 rims to do so this will make painting rims a breeze

I got these pics from a web site (cant remember where) Credits to who ever thought of this method

you got the pics from scotts ss resto website...
just a point with these..the ones pictured on scotts site are canadian rims which have a sharper edge..from what scott tells me the roh rims will need a template taken from them as well to do properly..
