Falcon ute or a secondhand VZ 1-tonner or Crewman. I wouldn't tow with a non leaf spring car unless it was a big coil sprung 4x4 like a Patrol.

I have just traded our ex ambo VZ adventra Lx6, it was an excellent for towing, heavy duty rear springs, 215kw powerchip, 5 speed auto with trans cooler, pulled the our boat as if it wasnt there, Traded on a prado gxl 3.0 must admit not fast, but it also tows very well, our boat is about 1.6t fully loaded with fuel.
