2012 NSW Training Awards..

Well last night I headed down to Tamworth for the New England region 2012 NSW Training Awards.. My TAFE teacher nominated me to be the TVET student of the year, and I was up against about 10 other people that had been nominated..

Everyone received certificates for reaching the finals after being selected from about 80 other people.. Then came the important awards..

I won the acheivement award in Automotive, and was rated as the number 1 TVET Automotive student in the whole New England region and with that I received a $100 cheque.. not bad for going and sitting down and being given dinner and dessert.. lol

I came in second place for the main award and was beated by a guy from Inverell that studied Information Technology..

Needless to say, my parents are over the moon..

Just thought I'd let you guys know how I went..

Thanks guys, there has been a heap of hard work done and hopefully it will set me up for my career..
