Quadrajet carby's for HJ Sandman

Sounds like an XU3 Sandman to me, but door switches aren't part of HJ Sandman - they have just been optioned. The wiper dwell was standard on almost all V8 HJ from 3/76 onwards, also on some 6cyl combinations. It became an option in HX using a separate patch harness but in HJ it was part of the main harness so they made it standard for some build configurations.

I checked out both carby's but they both have the cover on the front, not sealed the number on it is 7043284 (2483) maybe hq or earlier?? I'll keep an eye out for the right one. Just another question, in regards to the inlet manifold, the one i have has the holes in the side on left rear below where the carb sits, it looks like where the choke part bolts on?? Not sure if this is the correct manifold. The two holes are just below the left rear carby stud on the actual manifold looking from front of car. Can u enlighten me if this is correct year for my car? Cheers
