    This is it I think ... haha

    7043284 (2483)

    70 - Before 1976
    43 - 1973
    2 - emissions number
    8 - Holden
    4 - Even number is for an Auto, Odd is for a Manual

    2483 should be the 248th day in 1973 (September 5) when it was made or QA'd or something before it left the factory.

    Should be some time in 74 HQ\LH 308 with an Automatic transmission.... I think the carby date is usually many months ahead of the motor given the fact it probably spent a long time in a dark box on a ship over. I dont think it would be a year later to make it early HJ but maybe. :-)
