Early 308 engine

G'day Everyone,

I have a 308 out of a HT that i want to get rid of, it has a cast date of L18 and engine number of 308H2557.
It is already at 060 thou over and only a short motor.
Would like around $500 but am open to offers.

I'd be interested in it as a museum piece as it is an early HT Brougham engine and because it is +0.060 and 40+ years old it'll not be reliably useable at that bore size - so i'm happy to "museum" it! Not at $500 though, but wait and see if you have any takers. If not i'll talk turkey with you later. It is too early to be correct for anything other than a HT Brougham too.

Yeah no worries, we'll see what happens, i figured if someone wanted it enough for a HT they'd go to the trouble of re-sleeving.

They might, but thatis more likely to happen to an engine suitable for a GTS. This is way too early for anything but Brougham.

Sorry, only short motor, had late model heads on and chrome rocker covers.
