The bit I can't work out (or at least is not explained in the judgment) is it says the plaintiff (buyer) sold it in 2009 and it was the subsequent buyer who found it to be fake. Did the plaintiff refund the sale and take the car back oe get sued himself?
How much did he sell it for? (that would have determined it 09 value (even if it ws genuine he would have copped a loss between '07- Peak of muscle car market and '09)
