Weight is irrelevant on that van, unless it is a Pagewood assembly then it might have crept into October 1975. It is irrelevant anyway as V8 Sandman vans were always 2200kg, only the later XX7's were derated. You can't tell in any case from the ID. You need to check for console brackets and headlining attachment metalwork. Funny that is the second Jamaica Lime with Fawn trim HJ van I got ID for today! Can you get me the chassis and VIN numbers for the database?

Good luck, hopefully you have one! Not the nicest trim line, but it is still the second to top-spec engine HJ Sandman van you could buy if it is one.

still waiting on more information, the pics my stepson brought back are illegible, but what is a good price for an original sandman, it apparently has only rust in the lower tailgate cheers
