Thread: Another Adjusting Problem on my WB!!!

    I don't reckon it was stretched, I reckon the clutch wasn't setup properly in the first place and that is why they used the radiator hose clamp! I'd just pull the box out and set it up right. It is just tailshaft, shifter and crossmember off and undo the box at the 4 x bolts onto the bellhousing.

    Hmmm, okay.. It doesn't sound real good.. lol I'm thinking if I have to go to all this trouble I will put the rebuilt motor that I have in (I bought it after I set up the one thats in it now..) Having the gearbox out will also allow me to clean it abit.. I might wait for the shed to be finished (hopefully today.. ) and then I will finally have a concrete floor to do things properly on!!

    I'll go and measure the distance from the back of the bellhousing to the bottom of the hook (that the cable goes in..) and if its 39.0mm its been set up right.. If not I will take the box out and set it up properly..
