Hey guys Its Trav the owner and driver of POPSPV. Just joined the forum today. Thanks for the comments I tell you its fun and the best thing is that although its leaving hard and a little twisted it drives the rest of the way just like when my Pop had it from the showroom with its high comp 173 and three speed on the column!!

There is a cage, 2 subwoofers and amplifiers, all really a waste as when the car is running you cant heara thing!! Also a box for the Nos which will be turned on as soon as I get the new sway bar fitted and can keep the front left down a little

Welcome to the site Trav. Great looking (and going) van there. Nice to have the family history behind it too.

Your write about the Big Block and torque. Thing is I turn it it 7200 it makes 906hp and 747ft lbs aspirated and i put 200 of gas to test it and it went 1150hp and 947 ft lbs. When I raced it and didnt realise i had the timing set at 22deg total instead of 35 it was only making probably 750hp so if I get out this Saturday for a run then it shoud go in to the 9's. I get Jamie at full flight engineering in Epping to do teh chassis work and he cant fit me in to get th sway bar i need to keep the front left down.
