That is correct. GMP&A (GM Parts and Accessories) was the new name for Nasco, name changed in the mid 70's. You could buy a spare part body shell for any car. But the one that is the subject of this thread it is an SS A9X race shell as only they had MC7 against the transmission. MC7 is the gearbox code for the super duty boxes fitted to HQ GTS350 coupe, HQ XW8 Kingswood (both M20 Muncie) and A9X if optioned with a T10. You only ever see the code on the XW8 and the A9X as the MC7 box is optional on these two, it was standard on the HQ GTS350 coupe hence it is always blank on these.
