Looking at one of these today hmmm, has anyone got actual facts about fitting seats in rear etc, found a mint low mileage one SS spec and thought hmmm, very very cheap, local old bloke too

But were can I go for good factual info to do research before I buy it?

You would have to go and speak to an engineer about that 77. The VY..VZ van's look fabulous, and go really well, have all the mod con's also.

Not a fan of the maloo tailgate, just doesn't look right to me. Lot's of other's think differently though, that's how they made them.

They aren't vans, just a ute with a canopy. Lots of work to make one into a van and then to try and fit a rear seat, good luck!

Canopy is only fibreglass too. No chance in hell of getting engineering for seats in the back with no rollover protection. I reckon you'd have a better chance of putting ute quarters onto a Wagon and then trying to fit the van canopy over the wagon roof rail sections with a couple of hoops installed for extra rollover protection.

The vn-vs ute ute was built on the wagon floor pan, not sure about the vu -vz model could posibly have the rear footwells under the tray you would have to have a look, then just install a roll bar under the canopy, mind you seat belt positioning might need to be incorperated into the roll bar, fare bit of work i would suggest.

You would need to relocate the fuel tank as it sits in the tray where the rear wagon foot well is. There is space on the left but the tank is on the right. I put a sub box to fire into the cabin on my VS in this spot.

i recently upgraded from my hz replica sandman to this...pretty happy so far....especially when i picked it up and found it had the rear glass removed at factory and rear archway fitted!!

i'm also not a fan of the number plate in the rear tailgate which is why the vz would have to be my favourite of the new breed
