    WB Headlight Globes

    Hi,
Had to use the Headlights for the first time last night and i think a candle would have been better on low beam.
what is the max size globe you can put in these??
High beam is fine as it has spotties , but when you go to low beam i thought i only had the park lights on , even had to stop and check ??
    Cheers
    Rob

Your reflectors have probably gone off. You can buy new ones: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/holden-WB...item4d039ad74d

Once you've got them OK I wouldn't go any higher than 100/55 or so as the chrome will burn off the reflectors.

If you put relays in, you could go to 100/80.
You can get 140/100, but they are for rally use only.
BUT i have seen them used in HZ Panelvans, 4wd's and Commodores.

You won't get away with 130/100 in WB's long term though, they melt the reflector chrome. 100/80 might be OK though.

Leave the rubber boot of the back and the hot air can get out.

Then the chrome oxidisation accelerates! The lights were OK when stock, probably just need the recflectors fixed.

I have fitted this conversion kit to my HZ van in the H4 bulb ( low/high beams outer light ) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H4-HID-Xe...item336fc25825 They are pardon the pun BRILLIANT I also have HID bulbs in the spot lights on the trucks( like daylight all night) 55w Bulbs are three times brighter and half as hot as a 100watt halogen bulb. Shane at Predator Lights is great to deal with!

I'm with Agro, aircraft landing lights on high beam, and get a H3 or H4 for the outers with decent wattage globes. Use relays with direct battery feed to lights via a fuse.
