    HZ Sandman

    Hi all, I am after some identification on HZ sandman panel van ( if it is or not ).

    M70 mean Belmont van a vey good start

    18v slate black trim was only in Belmont sandman's it look pretty good to me

    Other will confirm
    HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
    HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
    HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
    1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"

    Yes it did have black interior, was white with black, blue green stripe i think will have to look.

    11/77 AH 3 or z not sure) 05249
    1950 kg seating capicity 2.

    That sounds about right. (except the Belmont bit. By HZ , Belmont name had been dropped and the base model was simply Holden). But otherwise, a Kingswood trim code in a base model body is Sandman from memory.
    Palais white with Slate Black interior. Pretty cool combo.

    If you are purchasing this van a matching original chassis no. To match the tag is an important for the best value

    I do have the matching chassis RTS. ( Rolling ) the plates and one door, the fuel tank, and maybe a guard. Unfortunatley i wrecked it years ago not knowing it was a sandman,( if it is ) could quiet possibly get the body back, i sold it to someone for a dog house.
    PS It was defected for blowing too much black smoke.
