True to a certain extent. I pay rego on 3 cars, 2 trailers, and a Truck, and ride a pushbike. I think the rego contribution I make well and truely entitles me to ride my pushbike where I want, when I want. My basic sense of self preservation convinces me to stay out of the way vehicles, but don't believe I should have to be the one that gives every time. If I follow the road rules on my pushbike, I'm entitled to use the road.

Dam pushbikes they ride side-by-side THEN go through red lights etc.
Funny story. Mate and i were riding our road bikes (CBR900) and came across a pair of pushbike riders side-by-side on a narrow twisting road.
They wouldn't move and just kept the whole lane to themselves.Mate fixed them up, put it up on the back wheel and went between them dating them up. Pushbike riders soon moved over before the other 8 bikes did the same.

Agree on the push bike thing lol. They had a big ride in Orange earlier in the year. The paper was full of letters of complaint about them running red lights.

Pet Peeves???? Where do i start? -
1. those that slow down to well below the speed limit cos they're passing a "mobile safety camera" - duh peeps.... no brownie points for going slower
2. People that just cut in front cos there's a little space and they reckon they can fit.... and then when half way into your lane slam on ankers when they realise its a f*n tight squeeze,
3. people that have to overtake you on the freeway, only to cut in front of you whilst hitting the ankers and then exiting up the exit ramp which they almost overshot cos they were too stupidly trying to overtake you before they exit...
4. people that dont know how to negotiate a round-about
5. people who cant judge distances and dont know how to make a right hand turn or overtake cos of it
6. people who dont know how to merge 2 lanes into 1 and insist on accelerating to cut you off and get peeved when you slowly but surely and confidently move over which squeezes them out of the lane.... cos they're too f*n stupid to realise they're the ones causing the traffic jam cos they GOTTA GET IN FRONT!!
7. people who turn right from the left hand side of the carriageway
8. people who turn left from the right hand side of the carriageway
9. stupid old people who decide to stop in the middle of the roundabout to give way to those on their left cos they feel like being curteous.... ffs... what about the traffic behind you and those poor sods who had to slam on the ankers whilst sliding into a nose-to-tail cos of them....??
