Let's get this straight (and back on topic)!

I did not complain that the tailgate sold for $1.04. I was pointing out that it did, and really for anyone that's a bargain and a bit of a laugh.
If I wanted max dollar for it, I would have started the auction at a higher price, I didn't because I was prepared to give it away in the first place. I've been doing ebay since 1999 so I have a basic idea on how it works.

As for limiting the market by adding pick up only... well that's my choice. All too often we get screwed around by yahoo's who want us to sit by the door waiting for some far removed relative to drive past and pick it up (and they rarely turn up - because they operate on the same service level as Telstra).

Not everything on the internet is a criticism.
