Any truth in the story about the Peak Hill dealer who is meant to still an EH brand new un-sold amongst other stuff? I know there was a brand new Chamberlain combine there for about 15 years after Chamberlain no longer existed.

Probably James, but he is an old grump...he owns heaps, and shares nothing doesn't even let many people look....likes Andre Johnson who is a car stalwart in the area...so we find out through him if he has stuff we want, and he asks him for it...Rodney knocked on his door once, to ask did he have something, he said "don't have anything HZ nothing at all...) he has a miryuid of stuff, just a cranky thing...no time for people like that...Charlie although careful with money lets you have a look and chats to you at least...and will sell if he knows you really need it....

Hi all,
Thinking of driving up to Canowindra this weekend with the kids. Can anyone just roll up and have a look through his collection? Can you recommend any other attractions to have a look at while in the area?
Cheers, Chris

You could keep going to Dubbo and go to the zoo. Or keep going to Dunedoo on Sunday and have a laugh watching wbute break something at Bullindah Bike Busters motorcross.
There might still be some snow on Mt Cannabis in Orange.
Pity we are not around this weekend, as could have come over and met you there...don't know many things in the area, but you will be at the museum fossicking about for up to 5 hours, that is how long R and I were there, each time we go there, we see something else amazing....I have his postcard here which says phone Charlie 0428441105. He has a DVD to watch also....just wonder around the town, it is old and interesting...the Trading post is a nice place for coffee and there is an area out the back the kids can run about in....there is the age of fishes, museum about fossils which is also quite good...
enjoy your weekend''
