Hi all,
Thinking of driving up to Canowindra this weekend with the kids. Can anyone just roll up and have a look through his collection? Can you recommend any other attractions to have a look at while in the area?
Cheers, Chris

You could keep going to Dubbo and go to the zoo. Or keep going to Dunedoo on Sunday and have a laugh watching wbute break something at Bullindah Bike Busters motorcross.
There might still be some snow on Mt Cannabis in Orange.
Pity we are not around this weekend, as could have come over and met you there...don't know many things in the area, but you will be at the museum fossicking about for up to 5 hours, that is how long R and I were there, each time we go there, we see something else amazing....I have his postcard here which says phone Charlie 0428441105. He has a DVD to watch also....just wonder around the town, it is old and interesting...the Trading post is a nice place for coffee and there is an area out the back the kids can run about in....there is the age of fishes, museum about fossils which is also quite good...
enjoy your weekend''

Went and had a look on Sunday and had a great time. The Dubbo Holden Club had a run there in the morning so got a bit of a bonus as there were loads of cool Holdens parked everywhere and 1 XW GT. (they must have let him tag along). I will post a few pics in the spotto thread.
Charlie fired up the XU1, gave it a few good revs and number 2 son was very impressed. He didn't seem all that impressed when he fired up the old FX tho.
Definitely would recommend a look if you are ever in the area. Between Canowindra and Cowra we had a busy day.
The whole show is up for sale if you can rake together 2 mil.
Found this out the back. Looking a bit sad....
