    HK/T/G panos

Before Sandman's were around, there were other Kingswoods that were able to hold their heads high.
They are the mighty HK/T/G panos

If i didn't like the tuff stance of a HQ - WB i'd own one of these for sure.
Here are 2 that i've found on the internet that draw some attention.

I know the lights and 12 slotters are a period thing, but other than that, those are two sweet vans.

It wasn't so much that they wanted them to look like Fords, more that Holden had pretty well designed everything previous with round headlights. The square/rectangular lights were more a European influence that started in the mid 70's.

haha and they liked the ford bonnet vents as well.

Trouble with HK-G commercials is the floor pans I think. Most utes are rusted out terribly because under the tray is the rear passenger foot wells for the station wagon. Water gets in here and can't escape. Im sure the same would occur in the vans if they wernt water tight and left outside.

That top van the midnight express is currently sitting in the birdwood motor museum ,Adelaide. Has been untouched since the 80,s aparently and still looks pretty good, probably hasn't seen much daylight since then tho.
