also have used armoural , but its a bit exp to spray on tyres, but great for dash and door rubbers.

BE CAREFUL.
Amourall dries out the dash & cracks it.Told this once by a VERY reputable upholsterer an never used it again.
Always used baby oil on dashpad & tonneau covers and they lasted for years.
Might be ok on tyres though.

I reckon that's a furphy. I always use it with no dramas. It's the sun that cracks dash pads.

would have to agree james, my dad has used armourall on all his cars for 30 years , never had a cracked door rubbers or cracked plastics or dash, i used it on my ve ss (told not to by the dealer) and it came up like new, sold it 18 months later and the dealer coudlnt believe how good all the plastics and rubber where on a car a 6 year old car with black interior. also used it on my old Discovery, which have shocking plastics in the first series and they also came up like new, great on the dash vent on HJ-Wb when they turn a milky colour from sun damage.
