Yeah Ian it is. Came up OK in the end but in reality the paint work was a little rushed and I ran short of thinners at 8pm on a Sunday night.... Nothing a coat of 2 pack Absinth yellow wont eventually fix! I was hoping that I would have had enough paint left out of 4lt of the DuPont I got mixed at Adamstown (to do the ute respray) to paint the trailer as well but didn't realise until I wondered why it wasn't covering the ute (and I looked closely at the supplied paperwork) that they had used clear to make up around half of the paint. Took 3lt just to get coverage of the body (even over a white base), let alone the front clip and went on like water, so the trailer will not be a perfect colour match (or even close - not real happy with the Adamstown version of Absinth) for the ute.
Fun and games.

Stood the ute rear wall up and reinforced it, added the weld ins and cut out and replated the rusted out sills and lower rear guards. The ute I made it out of was a Salt Ash swamp donkey that donated its driveline and interior to bolstering my ebay seller score. The front suspension and brakes were donated to a bloke around the corner from our old place for his hotrod build. The way I finished (a little rough but does the job) around thetop front I have left a square cut out for my ladder racks.
Painted in white acrylic until I see how much two pack I'll have left from my ute that I am about to paint tomorrow... Yay, only 3 years 1 month and 12 days since I took it off the road....
