go an ac delco or delkor battery around the 500to 550 cca should be heaps, i have never had one that lasted less than 7 years.

i would completely agree with the delco recommendation. I've seen some getting around that are so old they have Hebrew written on them that are still working perfectly! I had the same acid sweat you refer to brock05. Pop it in the bin and go to the wrecker and pick up another for $30 is my tip

We have a battery in our ski boat that is 11 years old and one used to move cars around that is 10 years old but they are always disconnected after use,not sure if disconnecting the has anything to do with their long life.
