That is a HZ dash not HJ-HX which are different to the HZ.

You can buy a HZ dash from Rares for a couple hundred, so the rest of the work would be just in refurnishing the gauges for $1500!

If you took in a HJ or HX how much would they charge?

Considering the work involved, that's a more than fair price. Wish I had a HJ, I'll be all over that

Exchange..... I'll do you a complete HZ dash for $1500 exchange any time you like. You are supplying me all the parts for free basically..... so $205 for a new repro HZ fascia, $375 to re-skin the crash pad, $150 to re-build the clock, $70 for a new lense kit leaves me $700 for about 5hrs work cleaning/painting the gauges and fitting the new lenses, re-calibrating the speedo and setting the odo back to 000000..... Not to mention I get an original HZ fascia I can restore and then sell for $500 to those that want original restored...

Sounds like a deal all right..... how many HZ dashes do you want to send me??? Sure better than the 16 or so hours I spend restoring an original fascia!!!

I'm currently doing a complete restoration on a HX GTS dash for $1215.... add $375 to re-skin a crash pad and the all up cost would be $1590. So only $90 more for the much rarer and far harder to restore HJ/HX GTS dash, especially good considering I charge $150 to mask up and paint the Portland Grey on the HJ/HX fascias!!!!!!

I would also be happy to do an exchange price of $550 on the HJ fascia as long as the exchanged fascia is in good restorable condition.

Ozbox had some excellent Concourse parts reproduction ones for a HQ he was selling at a discounted price.

haha wait until I get mine on the road and Im sure we will meet up. Finished welding up all the rust patches and window on one side and replaced the cowl and inside section..... phew just the rear quarters on the drivers side to go... Then some panelbeating and I can prime it :-)

I would not presume to guess but he did sell me one a while ago for well under $200. Classic Oz Wreck 02 49594546

Oz's ones were selling real quick when he had them at that price. I was tempted at the time but had just sourced a nice complete LS Monaro dash so didn't bother.
