so provided it got its complimentary service it will be recorded.., so say 50%.
the letter has no reference of a JP number, which still leaves me wondering how they can claim its an XU-1.

"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
By the betsbac code.
Dont the 3tags and body number tell the them that its an xu1
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
all 72 and 73 toranas gtr and xu1s had the 3 tags afaik
--- Updated ---
The people that buy most xu1s do there homework before parting with the money
Hmm, According to the compliance plate this XU-1 should be Orange not Silver.
1822 = Lone O'Ranger 1848 = Baroda Silver II Metallic which the ad listing states and shows.
Hope the new owner was aware of this? You'd assume that they would have done their homework!
Just for those who aren't aware not all XU-1's had JP or NP engine numbers. This was LJ XU-1 series only.

It was listed for sale on the torana forum as well and he listed the tags and told everybody that it was lone o,ranger its been baroda silver for 20 years he had nothing to hide and yes the new owner knows that to like i said people in the know just dont shell out that sort of money without checking first
NP was a nasco or equivalent engine replacement number for LJ so the car wouldn't be worth as much. As far as i know LC XU1 engine numbers were 186X and 3100X CK replacement engine NK and all LJ XU1 were JP.
