Fair enough. I like twin and the bloke in Dubbo I go to makes them sound fat without being obnoxiously loud.
I have also heard that a single system gives better power.
Just like to add one more thing, there is no such thing as noise pollution from a V8. Just music.
Well thats what I reckon anyway.
2 inch dual system with the pipes dumping behind the wheels. Sounds great and looks awesome when just started with the smoke bouncing of the ground on each side. Also keeps the fumes out of the back when the tailgate is up.
How close are they to the ground?
Because the fumes came in on mine on the way to the nats.(Could have been because of the roof spoiler but not sure).

Twin 2 inch on mine. No balance pipe. Mine come straight out the back. Love the sound, and definately love the look.:D
Will have to measure for you agro.
Here's where mine used to come out, level with the bottom of the mudflaps (and yes they have been taken off as well).

Cool name on the tailgate agro.... just need a creature mural on the side...as.... it could be taken the wrong way when driving the kids to school...

It was going to get murals on each side (one side have mask on, the other side with mask off), and yes that was the reason i took it off the tailgate.Originally Posted by Absinth

Twin 2.5" running through extractors and hooker aero mufflers with no equaliser tube. I think is sounds awesome!, my mates reckon they can hear me coming a mile off:shifty:!!!!!
I had a single exhaust on a V8 i had a while back, just sounded too restricted. (Though that could have been because it was a 351C....)

My 3 Holden have twin system, the 2 twin system I got put on (Maloo and the HZ ute) and the other came with a twin system, but it quieter (HX van). I grew up with twin system on V8, i think it great music to the ear.
I have the same set up as jbsandman76, in regards twin (unsure what pipe size i got put on, I thought 2-1/4?????).
I also have sport mufflers on, which make it sound sweet.
Hx van, I'm going to have it change, the mufflers, she abit quieter and I like the long chrome tips look.
