They are fine on fuel. My Cross8 averaged around 14L/100 or thereabouts once it had a decent exhaust and tuned. This is good for a 2tonne petrol fuelled ute. The 2WD varieties will be similar to a Statesman, these get around 11L/100 highway and around 15L/100 town. The key is getting them tuned to turn lean cruise back on and having a decent tune done.
