Hobbies and other intrests

hey all , i found that when i was on the sandman yesterday i found out many things about the people on the run yesterday and one included everyone's hobbies and interests , i found that amongst the forum we have some golfers , we have people that like flying though the air in go karts and many other things so i thought i would start a forum where everyone can express their hobbies and interests .

ill start it off

In my spare time i enjoy photography and a lot of sport , Ive attached some of my pictures to show you some of my photography

But sometimes I play drums in a few bands and read biographies.

I race pony express races and do the local club motorcross races with my kids. Also like to get out and ride in the scrub with mates when time allows.

my hobby turned into my business 20 years ago and its only in the last couple of years and especially the last 6 months that i have got back to the fun hobby side of my business which has been panel and paintwork and finishing and building cars..

in between i suppose renovating my house has been fun so that could also be described as a hobby over the last 5 years ....i enjoy hands on stuff..

Hi all....Rodney flies minature aeroplanes, and helicopters, on Sunday, he was instrumental in obtaining land, a hall, and building a strip on it. (an ex small community hall which was dilapidated). Now he has the yellow van he puts it all the back and heads out....we both like camping with friends, but in a Kimberly Karavan not in tents we have evolved from sleeping in panelvans, tents, and throwover campers...we have done trips through the centre to Kakadu, and great ocean road....Fraser Is. and Alpine region....we do heaps of water ski-ing when there is water in Burrandong Dam.....We have a permanent caravan site, and a garage for our boat....which we share with two other families...we all got together throughout summer with our kids, Rodney barefoots still, and I just ski, the kids wakeboard and ski.....My hobbies would be deadly boring to you guys, as I do have a feminine side outside of restoring vehicles.....

Sinbin your pics are spectacular, was that in NZ or Kosiusko NP?

Which part do you go to Windermere or Cudgegong?

Neither they only feed Burrendong, we go to Mookoowra pronounched Muckawar......very low at the moment but should fill a bit with this rain.....you can ski on it at 7% but you need to know where you are going....

Time is a scarce thing in my house.....

My 3yr old son and 7yr old daughter take up most of my time......they really are the best thing in my life...... they amaze me every day. Oh and the good lady wife too....i consider myself extremely lucky and thankful

Also in a band.....heavy metal...called Unknown Addiction. Im the lead guitarist and have been playing for close to 20years, currently recording and almost finished

That and some woodworking and general projects .... getting my hands dirty is fun to me as well
