tell him its your property and its none of his business what you do, Some people have nothing better to do than find things to complain about , He will never be your mate so dont waste your time trying to please him because you never will. no doubt before you built your shed and had your driveway concreted he was probably complaining about the dust from your unsealed driveway ???

I have 3 neighbors as I live out of town a bit. One behind me on 4000 odd acres, only see him when he ploughs a paddock, I have one on my left on 25 acres, I see him every now and again and it's a pleasure, the other deadshit on my right is a straight out moron! He actually dobbed me into the council for building a carport............He decided it was a carport when I was actually putting up a 30 metre long colour bond fence to stop him looking in my back yard when he mows his grass. He is a #@#$$%%^^&. i told the council he was a paedofile thats why I was putting up the fence. The council were happy it was a fence!!

I only have one neighbour he owns 50 acres all the way round our small property and our house used to be his parents house, our street is named after him. So it's lucky he is a good neighbour or he could pretty easily make my life hell,I think he is probably more sick of me then I am of him as I'm always down there borrowing tools but he is always happy to help.
Think I better help him cut his hay this year for some pay back and maybe paint his truck lol.
I have had my fare share of bad neighbour and sometimes it's better to just say hello and leave it at that unless you want them at your house all the time !
Since moving to the hills 4 years ago don't think I could live in the suburbs again unless I have to.

I have only been in my house for 3 months, on one side is an older retired chap who lives by himself, he's into woodworking and seems ok, the other side is a family with 2 little children under school age, I'm a bit worried about making noise in the evening as I don't know what time the little tackers go to bed. I'm out of the house from 5:45am to 7:30pm, so I haven't really had a chance to piss the neighbors off yet. On the weekends my daughter is with me and we're fairly quiet, we'll see what the warmer weather brings. At my last place, the neighbors were arseholes, mind you I went to school with the husband and he was a sneaky little turd back then. (35 years ago). The wife was just nasty, even my ex wife who seems to be able to get along with most people, decided that this woman was a nasty cow the first time she met her. Maybe I should clarify about the ex and I, we were together 15 years, married for 13, had some fantastic years together, have a beautiful daughter and just ran out of things to say to each other. Not bitter, just how life turns out sometimes.

my neighbour on one side gave me a hard time about all the wrecks and people driving over his verge....

i built a brick wall upto 1.8 down his side and now no problem...

i have often had neighbours complain about surburban holden wrecking,... but i tell them i am Australian and its part of my culture and they need to respect it.

The neighbour that is whinging has nothing better to do as a retired old man..
Spoke with the other neighbour today he's easy going.

The lady across the road came over to say how much improvement has been done to the house since i have moved in. She was saying she was told to move her car off the road by the same neighbour that's been whinge about me. Hes been to the council whinging about the semi parked on the road half way down the street, the more and more ppl that i talk to say we know he's a whinger..

As for running V8s in the drive way or loud car i haven't had any car home just as yet didn't have a shed... ( well a decent shed)..

Some ppl just don't like change.. since they have been in their house since 1973..
