    Karma's a bitch ain't it?

My town neighbours are all good, now that there's no uni share house over the back fence. They weren't whiners or anything, just had a lot of summer parties where they played really shit music late in the night and 2 of our second storey bedrooms looked over their backyard.

I've got one prick of a neighbour at the farm. The old cocky who owned the place before me never formalised the easier access road with the previous neighbours (gentlemans handshak was good enough for him). Naturally, the grumpy old Italian who bought the property closed off that access. No worries for me when I bought the place. I went to the next property over and they said "sure, come through ours". It was a couple extra gates and took 5 minutes instead of 3 but still better than the 25 minute trek via the bush track at the back. These neighbours told me that they'd be selling with a possible subdivision in a couple years and that they'd break off a strip that lead from the main road to my block and sell it to me at a good price. Anyway, time comes and it's a crappy time to sell so they get no real interest (awesome grazing land but it was the middle of the drought). The only person interested is the old Italian, and naturally he won't buy if there's someone else's access road through the middle. Bugger.

Anyway, over the next couple of years I have frequent visits from Italian cows, breaking through the fence in search of the only available grass they can see. Their entire property looks like a desert wasteland (even after the drought) and with more than 1000head of cattle on under 1000acres and no room for paddock rotation they're starving. They get 1 round bale a day between the whole herd, barely enough for an appetiser. Bulls are running with the young heifers and getting them all pregnant well before they're ready and he won't sell any cause no one is offering what he thinks he should be getting. He tries to pass off 3 year olds as weaners at the sales (due to their stunted growth) and the buyers get wind and cancel the sale.
Anyway, Karma caught up to him the other week. He got a Visit from the RSPCA and he police and the result was over 900 head being taken off the property. I was out there on the weekend and struggled to see a cow on his property, let alone the 30 odd that have been constantly on mine for the last year.

if people complain , go knock on their door on a thursday nite and ask for rent. they will ask "what for?"

then tell them "if you want a say in the way my house is run, you better chuck in for rent".

i have done this a few times and it has worked.

I have excellent neighbours on both sides, they are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble witch is great when you in a chair! The guy in the front unit who is also in a chair, visitors block the entrance to my rear unit from time to time so my cares and sister can’t get to my carport or parking bay, that really pisses them off! Some people either don’t think or don’t give a shit!

We party often with both our immediate neighbors all about our age with younger kids.
New subdivision over the back is finished and a da is in for a house adjacent to our pool area so we will see what they think of our pool parties next summer with our 5 teenagers and their friends.

Well, we live on the outskirts of town, but still have neighbours all around.. :(

One fulla and his girlfriend live next door and constantley have parties.. Many a times we have found people taking a leek on our fence - struggling to stand up at the same time - I've also had a fulla ask me 'what are you doing today?' 7 times in a 5 minute conversation.. He was that pissed, I just walked away! haha 5 minutes later he was chasing a magpie around, and still thought he could catch it once it started flying

They also have one whole wall of the shed covered in old speakers that he has got from the tip and re wired them (he's an eletrician..) They normally pump their 'fully sick' gangsta tunes at full volume.. Their shed is 15 metres away from our house, but the music is that loud that our whole house vibrates That same night an old fulla a few blocks over rang the cops, and the next day we got blamed for it.. Thankfully they have stopped with the music now..

He does own a 'fully sick' silver Lancer with a body kit and some neons etc.. He has done front wheel drive burnouts in the shed before.. He has no idea how to do a burnout, constantley on and off the clutch typical ricer bahaha While hes been doing it, I have just been wishing and hoping that it launches hard and runs out the back of the shed.. Its never happened, but I want it to! haha

The other side has two teenage daughters and a teenage son.. The son pumps the music as loud as possible down in a caravan near our shed - I'm fine with that while I'm working in the shed.. Its mostly good music.. - and the girls must be stoned off their brains all the time, cause they will spend hours up on top of the highest pitch of the roof (easy 15 metres off the ground..) during the middle of the day..
Other than that we don't here much from them at all..

Over the back fence there is a paddock that has horses in it.. haha
