Yep, i've got the same attitude. The new race cars are so controlled, so close to each other in every aspect....they dont resemble its road version apart from the headlights, tail lights and grille badge. I guess it feels like the glory days are long gone with the 'win on sunday, sell on monday' motto. I understand technology plays a massive part in being competitive, but i think the real DNA of their road going versions is nowhere to be seen in the race cars. I think theyre trying to make it too much like NASCAR.....back in the day NASCAR used to be throw a spoiler and a roll cage and race.....now even the shells they use dont look like the road going version.

I felt for a long time that V8 Supercars has been going downhill and have been less and less interested over the last 15yrs
